Further thoughts on Kynance Cove

Something wasn’t right with yesterday’s blog entry, yet I couldn’t put my finger on it. The superlatives were all there, the white sands and the turquoise sea, but reading it back I didn’t seem to give it the sense of what I felt when we were there.

However, it came to me about 3am this morning (as usual I was awake and thinking….), that the footprints in the sand looked like an intrusion as if they shouldn’t have been there. I was picturing it after the high tide at night when everyone had left, the cove would once again be pristine, cleaned of any footprints. What a wonderful sight that must be. And yet this wonder happens twice a day.

Like your thoughts about the footprints and the tide. Did you have the place to yourselves? That would make it more special too. xx

    1. Almost Anne.. When we were on the cliffs looking down the cove was deserted which made me think about the intrusion…
